ABOUT THE SALA

The South Atlantic Lifesaving Association (SALA) is the South Atlantic Region of the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA).  The USLA works to reduce the incidence of death and injury in the aquatic environment through public education, national lifeguard standards, training programs, and promotion of lifeguard readiness. The South Atlantic region includes northern Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee &  southern Virginia.
